Utsav: Celebrating India’s Maestros of Music and Dance 2015
Sivam, Inc was established with the mission of promoting opportunities for education and the advancement of Indian classical dance as a traditional art form. Utsav is a three-day celebration featuring performances of traditional Indian music and dance by renowned Indian artists in five different programs.

Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, sarod
A Grammy nominee, sarod (Indian lutelike instrument) virtuoso Amjad Ali Khan is joined by his sons Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan for an evening of traditional Indian classical ragas and Indian folk music.

Don Quixote Bharatanatyam Ballet
Directed and choreographed by Sheejith Krishna, Sahrdaya Foundation’s 21st-century stage adaptation of Miguel Cervantes’s 17th-century novel Don Quixote combines multiple art forms–poetry, music, dance, and theater–to unfold a timeless tale with universal relevance.

Smt. Sudha Raghunathan, Carnatic vocalist
Smt. Sudha Ragunathan is India’s leading Carnatic vocalist and a disciple of the legendary Padmabhushan Dr. ML Vasanthakumari. He is joined by Shri B V Raghavendra Rao, an expert solo violinist in his own right; Shri Skanda Subramanian, an accomplished mridangam player; Shri R Raman Ramakrishnan, who has made his own indelible mark in playing the morsingh, a wind percussion instrument; and Shri N Guruprasad on the ghatam, who is a student of the renowned Shri Vikku Vinayakram.

Smt. Kumari Avasarala Kanyakumari, Carnatic violin
Kumari Avasarala Kanyakumari is a top ranking Carnatic violinist with experience spanning more than 49 years. She is popular not only as a soloist and as an accompanist, but also as an innovator and conductor of Carnatic instrumental ensembles. Kanyakumari will be presenting a Carnatic Symphony along with Shri V. Sanjeev, Shri. Srikanth Mallajosyula, Shri. Kamalakiran on the violins, Mudikondan Shri. S.N. Ramesh on the veena, Shri. J.A. Jayanth on the flute, Patri Shri. Satish Kumar on the mridangam, and Shri.V. Krishna Kishor on the rhythm pad.
