Performance Description:
Christylez Bacon, Nistha Raj & Wytold are a cross-cultural collaborative trio of diverse musicians who fuse traditional elements of hip-hop such as human beat-box, rhyming and storytelling with Indian Classical and Post-Western Classical music. The trio features GRAMMY Nominated Progressive Hip-Hop artist and multi-instrumentalist from Southeast, Christylez Bacon, Nistha Raj’s command of the five-string violin played in Western and North Indian (Hindustani) classical styles as well as Wytold’s post-classical compositions on the six-string electric cello combined with the art of live-looping.
